On August 18, 2009, a Delaware jury returned a verdict finding that Amazon.com, Inc. did not infringe two of the three patents owned and asserted by Cordance Corporation. The jury found those two patents valid. The jury did find that Amazon.com infringed 4 of 5 asserted claims of the third patent-in-suit but that was the same patent that the jury found invalid.
